Please use SD card or TF card with the speed of Class 10. The capacity must more than 16GB.

Which HDD should I choose? 2018-01-18T13:35:49+00:00

Please use 2.5” HDD with 5400 rotation. Thickness must less than 9.5mm.

How to choose the test power in the office? 2018-01-18T13:35:30+00:00

Please use AC 110V/220V—DC 12V/5A or adjustable power. Maximum electric current support 5A.

How to connect the the power of MDVR? 2018-01-18T13:35:09+00:00

For field installation, the anode (red) and cathode (black) should directly connect to car battery. For office testing, the anode (red) and ACC (yellow) can be combined as a anode wire.After, lock the MDVR to power on.

Why MDVR cannot turn on? 2018-01-18T13:34:36+00:00

Please check the power is connected correctly and the device electronic lock is closed.

How to quickly link the server device? 2018-01-18T13:34:09+00:00

Note: MDVR without WIFI and 3G / 4G module functionality are not valid for the following and do not need to be reported to the platform.

First:Install SIM card. select the corresponding SIM card according to the corresponding module.

Second:Boot into the system menu.At first modify the phone number in terminal set.(This number is the unique ID to report to the CMS )

Third:Into the center of the network settings, set the corresponding IP and port number according to the different client’s server deployment IP.

In the system ( Alarm setting— IO alarm setting) . Set the corresponding port triggered video switching function.

Why MDVR Doesn’t Record? 2018-01-18T13:33:07+00:00

Check if SD card exist; if exist, check disk status.

Types of disk status: nonexistence, unformatted, normal volume of under usage, normal   volume of full usage.

  • Nonexistence: no detect of SD card. Pleasecheck at computer, or change a different SD card to decide whether problem is from SD card or MDVR.
  • Unformatted: pleasetry formatting at MDVR menu page, and check if SD storage is shown normal after formatting.
  • Normal volume of under usage: disk being normal but storage is not full.  Pleasecheck recording mode to confirm if recording is enabled.
  • Normal volume of full usage: disk being normal with storage is full. Please check if disk cycle cover is open.
Why no GPS location info? 2018-01-18T13:32:25+00:00
  • Check if GPS module exist.
  • Check if GPS antenna is well installed. It’s recommended to put antenna in a open place with no shield, for better signals. Though, it’s normal that GPS signals may be lost when car is passing by tunnel, big trees, or high buildings.

  • Check module status, and 3G setting.
  • Check if the antenna is installed well, and how strong the 3G signal.
  • Check SIM card status, make sure network and talk/sms services to support with enough fee.
Why WIFI cannot connect? 2018-01-18T13:31:37+00:00
  • Check whether the WIFI module exists.
  • Check the parameters are set properly.
  • Check the connection network name and password is set correctly in the system setting.
Why can’t connect to servers when the MDVR is Running? 2018-01-18T13:31:08+00:00
  • Make sure 3G/4G has dialed up successfully.
  • Check if server config correct at local menu, such as IP, port, and ID being unique.
  • Check if there’s online vehicle to confirm if server is working normally.
Why MDVR frequently reboots when it is on Vehicle? 2018-01-18T13:30:27+00:00

The common display is: frequent online and offline, recording interrupt, recording not in sequence

Reasons:

  • Unstable power supply: this is most possible reason, pleasetest input voltage when the problems appear
  • Disk error: 1.try to format disk; 2.change a different or new disk
  • Software or hardware problems: pleaseremove off the SD card or disk, to see if reboot issue still happen under normal power supply. If problem continues, please send the version to technicians, or return to factory for repair if necessary.
